Pairing Down to Basic Shapes
Fragmented Typographic Forms is an exploration that breaks down letterforms into basic shapes, removing their recognizable structure.
These simplified, non-objective elements are then rearranged to create new spatial relationships.

I envisioned the project as a two-dimensional graphic experiment, focusing on deconstructing letterforms into basic shapes and reassembling them to explore spatial relationships.

Trust the Process
This typographic exploration of shapes began with the intention of creating a triptych poster series.

I became interested in attempting a 3D interpretation and employed a sculptural approach to translate 2D forms into 3D space, utilizing wood and metal.

As the project evolved, the 2D fragmented forms went beyond the flat surface and attempted to make them tangible in physical space.

Geometric Arrangements
The result focuses on the geometry and empty spaces within the forms.

This process emphasizes the geometry and negative space, highlighting the interplay between the components and the voids they create.

This shift led to experimenting with three-dimensional arrangements, allowing the shapes to interact in real-world environments, further blurring the line between typography, sculpture, and spatial design.
