Pairing Down to Basic Shapes
"Fragmented forms" is a typographic exploration that breaks down letterforms into basic shapes, removing their recognizable structure. These simplified, non-objective elements are then rearranged to create new spatial relationships.

Geometric Arrangements
The result focuses on the geometry and empty spaces within
the letters, offering a fresh perspective on how shapes can interact and form meaning.

This process emphasizes the geometry and negative space within letters, highlighting the interplay between the components and the voids they create.

Trust the Process
This typographic exploration of shapes began with the intention of creating a triptych poster series. Initially, I envisioned the project as a two-dimensional graphic experiment, focusing on deconstructing letterforms into basic shapes and reassembling them to explore spatial relationships. However, as the project evolved, I was inspired to take these fragmented forms beyond the flat surface and attempt to make them tangible in physical space.
This shift led to experimenting with three-dimensional arrangements, allowing the shapes to interact in real-world environments, further blurring the line between typography, sculpture, and spatial design.
