Defining Goals

- Ridenbaugh Exterior

- Simplified Shapes

- University Branding

- Architecture Inspired

Brand Identity

As a University of Idaho facility, the Ridenbaugh Gallery must align

with the university's identity. Pride Gold and the Public Sans Typeface reinforce the connection to the school.

By incorporating these brand elements, the Ridenbaugh logo gains its own authority within the university.

Final Logo
Our creative process culminated in the final logo: a tribute to the iconic windows at the entrance of the Ridenbaugh. Designed to honor the building's architecture, the logo emphasizes the fundamental geometric shapes that define its structure.

Arches that Tell a Story
The arches reference the windows and are designed to frame photos and graphics for publications.

As the official student gallery, "telling stories through the window" makes the identity feel truly student-driven.

Recognition at the Gallery Entrance

The Ridenbaugh logo is strategically placed at the gallery entrance to provide clear branding and enhance visual recognition of the space.

This prominent positioning ensures that visitors immediately associate the gallery with the University of Idaho's identity, creating a cohesive

and welcoming first impression.
