Daily Interactions

Design Goal
Combine photos collected from my experiences to convey my associations with text and numbers in the daily environment. This approach is part of a poster series featured in my MFA exhibition.
Personal Project
Spring 2024
This photo collage layers letters and numbers collected from everyday environments, creating a visual narrative that reflects the constant presence of text in our daily lives. By incorporating fragments of signage, receipts, and other incidental elements, I aim to highlight the often-overlooked relationship between language and space. The choice to layer these elements mirrors how text is encountered in fragmented, disjointed forms—never entirely separate but constantly interacting with the physical world. The arrangement of letters and numbers is intentionally chaotic, yet deliberate, to evoke how we absorb and process information in our surroundings. The collage format emphasizes the disconnection between individual elements while suggesting a hidden unity beneath the surface, encouraging viewers to reconsider the everyday objects and signs they might otherwise ignore.
